July 22: Fort Montgomery, NY (mile 1383)

The trail is getting a bit harder compared to New Jersey but its a lot of fun. I've been getting 'Trail Magic' about every day, thats free food and drinks from the trail clubs, and have had two trail parties. The whole atmosphere is different, there are a lot of ethnic groups in the parks as we pass through. I'll cross the Hudson tomorrow on the Bear Mountain Bridge, then on to Connecticut. later
