March 26: Neels Gap (mile 30.8)

The weather has been warm and sunny. Supposed to get cold tonight. Lat year when I was on this part of the trail it was foggy so this is like a new trail with new scenery. The gear is working nicely, the pack fits on the back like it belonged there.

Got a kink in my knee the first day so I've been taking it rather easy. May rest tomorrow to let the knee heal.

The guys on the trail are a nice bunch of guys, already got some new ideas on updating equipment, like a new alcohol stove.
