September 16: Stratton, ME (mile 1984)

The end of the mountains! Actually have a few 'bumps' to go over when I get back on the trail, but I can handle that. The weather
is beautiful, cool and dry, so the hiking is enjoyable. With 184 miles to go, I'm ready for it to end. Its really been a nice trip but all
good things must come to an end.
(Note from dad. Its interesting, he now started reporting how many miles left to go. Don't know if he's trying to see if I can
subtract or if his mind is on the finish.)
